Thomas Hach
Thomas (Tom) Hach is currently serving his fourth term as an Ohio school board member and is the State Director of the Ohio Freedom Action Network. After retiring as an IT program manager and completing a 21-year career in the Navy Reserve, which included service in Iraq from 2006 to 2007, Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Miami University in Ohio and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

Becoming a member provides access to events, professional development opportunities, mentorship, and collaboration with fellow members both within your state and nationwide. As an elected school board official, you will have the opportunity to vote on advocacy priorities that will shape our collective efforts, addressing specific state issues and needs. This initiative solidifies the principles of a bottom-up approach to government decision-making, emphasizing citizen involvement and local participation while prioritizing community needs and individual empowerment over centralized control.

The 2026 calibration meeting will prioritize establishing clear goals and actionable plans to ensure our success. We recognize that a goal without a plan is destined for failure. The NSBC leadership will establish measurable goals to manage the necessary transition as we confidently advance into 2026.

The regional leadership meeting will occur on the second Wednesday of every month, bringing together state leadership from the Midwest region. (Time is 9 am Pacific, 10 am Mountain, 11 am Central, and Noon Eastern)
